I’ve done stained glass for several years and always seek to learn techniques and hints to improve. I found Milly’s class was well organized and well presented. It was easy to follow along and understand. I learned several more ideas to improve my work. I would certainly recommend this class for beginners as well as for experienced glass artists, even if only as reminders of a technique forgotten. Thank you Milly, well, done!!!

Happy am I to hear that you learned some new tips to help you Marilynne. Even with your previous experience…
Thank you for your kind words and good luck with your future projects.

I started with a copper foil stained glass Cont Ed class at a local community college but was still feeling unsure of myself after completing my first project. So seeking out additional instruction and after a Google search I was happy to find Milly and Everything Stained Glass. Can’t say enough good things about this class. Start to finish with the copper foil method. Detailed instruction and informative videos demonstrating technique. Recommended as both a beginner and refresher class. Milly is one of a kind and quite a find for those of us across “The Pond”.

Aw, I’m blushing Barbara! Thanks so much for your lovely review. It confirms that the beauty of stained glass is universal and crosses all oceans 🙂

I had only dabbled in stained glass making simple things like wind chimes that required no soldering, just cut simple straight lines and grind. I learned everything required to make a beautiful piece and go on to make others. Milly took me through each step in a logical, thorough manner and the print-outs are so valuable to refer back to when I am struggling with something. I’m very glad I took this course and remain involved in the online community. I like Milly’s teaching style so much I took another of her courses.

I’m so glad you found the print-outs helpful Terry, and that you find my teaching style useful for your learning.
Thanks for your review, I appreciate you taking the time.

Even though I have been making things in stained glass for about seven years, I found Milly’s course well worth taking. Many of her techniques were familiar, but I also learned some new ones as well. Her videos were interesting and informative and she took the time to show closeups of details as well as overall views. I especially enjoyed learning of more than one way to do the same thing, such as the different techniques in soldering. I have downloaded all her workbooks and am happy to have them to refer to. Thank you, Milly. I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to my friends.

That’s so good to hear Bonnie. Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback on the course. I’m delighted that you have had value from it. Good luck with your future projects.

I needed a quality refresher after 10 years away. Milly’s Glass was great. The pacing was appropriate to get me integrated once again. I learnt a few good tips, too that save time and frustration. The close up videos were well done so that you could see what was happening. And the safety briefing at the start was very much appreciated- I would have forgotten a bit of that, too. She is not just a Video Star..I even sent a few emails to her to get more information or share.

    • Milly Frances

I’m so pleased to read that the course helped as a refresher for you. And that you learned some new things. Thanks for the thumbs up Shannan.
P.S. I’ve been called some things in my time, but never a ‘Video Star’ 🙂

Even though I had been doing stained glass for awhile I was amazed at the tips and tricks I picked up from taking the course. When you try to teach yourself or have had an inexperienced teacher in the past you can pick up some bad habits that will continue to plague you unless you finally connect with Milly. I love that she puts emphasis on safety and often provides more than one way to tackle a subject. Her enthusiasm for stained glass as an art and for teaching are so evident in this course. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in starting out or in improving your skills. You can’t go wrong!

    • Milly Frances

I’m blushing Maggie, thanks 🙂 It’s music to my teacher’s ears to read that you have learned some new tricks despite having done stained glass before.
You pick up on my belief that there are lots of ways to do something – not ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ – I’m glad the course helped you find the ones that were best for you.
